Job summary

Martin Brower ANZ is seeking a Storeperson (Warehouse Operator) to join our Distribution Centre. You will perform general warehousing duties, including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving and storing stock, and loading trucks.

The role emphasizes safety and teamwork within a close-knit DC team. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, a positive demeanour, and a commitment to Workplace Health and Safety, with willingness to work shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices.
• Reliable with a positive demeanour.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
• Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high-reach would be advantageous.
• Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment medical testing (drug and alcohol).

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehousing duties including picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving and storing stock, and rotating stock.
• Assist with inventory, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
• Maintain safe communication with customers, co-workers and management; support safe work practices.

Day to Day you will:

• + As a Storeperson (Warehouse Operator), your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• + Performing general warehousing duties, including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing incoming deliveries
• + Assisting with stock rotation as well as inventory and cycle count procedures
• + Maintaining positive communication with customers, co-workers, and management
• + Ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with company guidelines and relevant legislation
• + Participating in product recall procedures and using all material handling equipment correctly
