Belron New Zealand (Smith&Smith, Laser, Exceed) invites you to join as a Fixed term Summer Technician to support the Auto Glazing team, repairing and recalibrating vehicle glass with cutting-edge tools to deliver top-quality workmanship. You will be the face of our service, advising customers and upselling value-added products while upholding exceptional service standards.

Location is Rotorua with a 30-hour roster across the week.

The Opportunity:

Join us as a Fixed term Summer Technician and become a key player in keeping people safe on the road. In this hands‑on role, you will be supporting our Auto Glazing team to repair and recalibrate vehicle glass using cutting‑edge tools and technology—delivering top‑quality workmanship every time.

You’ll also be the face of our service, working directly with customers to provide expert advice, offer value‑added products, and ensure every interaction is a great one. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will make a real difference.

Location: Smith&Smith Rotorua

Hours: 30 hours, rostered across the week (Mondays to Sundays)

Fixed Term: Early December 2026 - 25 March 2027

What we’re looking for

• Motivated people with a passion for hands‑on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.
• A passion for exceptional customer service.
• The ability to learn new technology and systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value‑added products and services.
• Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day
• A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.
• You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• The preferred candidate will be required to undergo a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening test.
