The University of Auckland invites applications for a Student Support Adviser in the Faculty of Arts and Education. You will provide advice, guidance and wellbeing support to undergraduate students and connect them with services across the University.

This full-time role (37.5 hours/week), 36 months fixed term, commences January 2027, with a focus on rainbow communities and equity. You will report to the Student Support and Engagement Manager and work within a vibrant team offering flexible

Competenze

• Experience working with students or young people.
• Strong communication, active listening and relationship-building skills.
• Awareness of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity and inclusion.
• Lived experience or strong connection with rainbow communities or students with disabilities.
• Understanding of the tertiary environment and supportive responses.
