The University of Auckland invites applications for Te Ūnga Kairuruku, Schools and Community Recruitment Adviser. This is a key role to implement recruitment initiatives for the school leaver market, delivering mana-enhancing activities for Years 13 students and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities to engage with Waipapa Taumata Rau.

You will recruit new students through targeted events and work with faculties as a relationship manager to ensure their needs are communicated and met by

Qualifications

• A tertiary level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience of working with and understanding the needs of a diverse range of clients.
• Highly skilled communicator and presenter.
• Proficient computer literacy abilities and experience in delivering digital tools and resources.
• An understanding of the NZ secondary school system.
• Understanding of the tertiary environment and student experience.
• Demonstrable understanding of te ao Māori concepts.
