Job summary

University of Canterbury is seeking a proactive Future Students Advisor in Auckland. You will recruit and engage future students, present UC programs, and travel across New Zealand to build meaningful relationships with schools and communities.

You’ll present UC’s value, guide applicants through the journey, and collaborate with faculties to achieve shared outcomes. You’ll thrive in a dynamic team, manage a portfolio, and use CRM data to sharpen recruitment activities while representing UC with

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, conversion, account management, advisory or another relationship-focused environment.
• Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills with diverse audiences.
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships across backgrounds.
• Experience using data, reporting and CRM systems to manage activity and inform decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and the ability to travel within New Zealand with a NZ driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment and conversion against targets, managing a portfolio and sales pipeline.
• Build and nurture relationships with future students, parents and schools guiding them to UC.
• Present UC value through engaging presentations and events.
• Plan and deliver recruitment activities for diverse audiences.
• Use market trends and recruitment data to focus activity and improve strategies.
• Provide accurate advice on UC programmes, admission and pathway requirements.
