Job summary

The University of Waikato is seeking fixed-term Library Assistant staff in Hamilton to support the Collections, Strategy and Access Team. Qualifications

• Must be reliable, punctual and able to maintain commitment throughout the fixed term.
• Able to follow Library Services guidelines and work independently.
• Must be physically capable of safely lifting and moving materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing and organising library materials to keep the collection current and accessible.
• Help with shelving and maintaining an orderly, welcoming library environment.
• Support collections work in Te Manawa under supervision.
