The University of Waikato is seeking a Student Assistant for Library Collections in New Zealand. This fixed-term internship supports the Collections, Strategy and Access Team, assisting with organising and improving access to library materials and shelving to maintain an orderly, welcoming library environment.

Successful applicants will commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week, between 8:30am and 5:00pm, with the term running from late October to 18 December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Organise and improve access to library collections and resources.
• Review and organise library materials to keep the collection current and easy to access.
• Help identify items needing attention and assist with shelving and maintaining an orderly environment.
