Job summary

Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) is seeking a proactive Student Services and Experience Coordinator to join our Mt Albert team. You will be the first point of contact for students, handling enquiries, tracking attendance and supporting engagement activities to enhance the student journey.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, delivering a positive, inclusive campus experience and helping students navigate available support services throughout their study journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in student services or education sector is highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence to navigate a busy environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage student enquiries through in-person, email, phone and online channels.
• Monitor attendance and follow up on engagement or progression concerns.
• Help students navigate services, policies, processes and available support.
• Support orientation, student engagement activities, events and graduation.
• Maintain accurate student records and escalate issues as needed.
