Job summary

Envelope Engineering in New Zealand seeks a Structural Engineer to design, plan, and execute a broad range of structural and land development projects. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of structural engineering experience on building and development work across New Zealand.

We value strong client liaison skills, familiarity with NZ design standards, and the ability to progress projects through council approvals, delivering high quality outcomes within a collaborative team.

The role

TheStructural Engineerrole will be involved in the design, planning, and execution of a wide range of structural engineering and land development projects.

To fill this role, we are looking for a candidate who has significant structural engineering experience working across building and development projects in New Zealand.

What you’ll bring
  • 3 - 5 years structural engineering experience.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification – bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent demonstrated competency and experience.
  • Experience liaising and negotiating with clients and potential clients, and a proven record of achieving goals in line with business plans and company strategy.
  • Understanding of New Zealand design standards and council approval processes.
