We’re on the lookout for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Christchurch studio. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects from commercial and health to residential all while collaborating closely with our team and clients to bring designs to life.
You’ll work alongside a great bunch of people, on a 9/80 basis (80 hours a fortnight across 9 days). That means more flexibility, with every second Friday off, and more time to do the things that matter to you.
A tertiary qualification in engineering; preferably a Washington Accord or equivalent Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering
An understanding of engineering first principles and ability to apply these to everyday situations
Approximately 4-8 years experience, with the ability to independently deliver design packages and small to medium sized projects
Proficiency in engineering software; preferably ETABS and SPACE GAS
Strong understanding of NZ design standards, building codes, and compliance processes
High attention to detail
Adaptable and solutions focused, with ownership and pride in your work
Highly organised with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities
