Job summary

BCD Group, a New Zealand-owned consultancy, invites applications for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team in New Plymouth. You will contribute to exciting structural design projects across New Zealand, gaining exposure to diverse challenges in the Taranaki, Hawke's Bay and Bay of Plenty regions while developing your technical and professional skills.

With 2-3 years of NZ structural design experience, you will work autonomously and within a team, balancing priorities

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years Structural Design experience in NZ.
• Commitment to delivering client outcomes in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist on structural design projects across New Zealand, including Taranaki, Hawke's Bay and Bay of Plenty.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop safe, cost-effective designs.
• Support project delivery by balancing multiple assignments to meet deadlines.

We are looking for a talented Graduate Structural Engineer with 2-3 years under their belt to join our multi-disciplinary consultancy in New Plymouth. You will work on exciting projects across New Zealand specifically throughout Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, and Bay of Plenty, gaining exposure to diverse challenges and opportunities.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, specialising in Structural
• 2-3+ years Structural Design experience in NZ
• Problem solver with an eye for detail
• Commitment to providing the best outcomes for clients
• Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment
• A willingness to learn from experienced industry professionals
