Job summary
Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Strategic Planning & Transformation Manager within our Merchandise function. You will translate the Merchandise strategy into an integrated portfolio, leading key transformation priorities to measurable outcomes and guiding sequencing, capacity and trade-offs for confident leadership decisions.
You will unify strategy, delivery, technology and people to create simpler, smarter ways of working, accelerating AI and automation opportunities while ensuring value
Qualifications
- Strong strategic planning and delivery experience in a complex organisation.
- Strong commercial judgement and value orientation with evidence-based recommendations.
- Technology, product and AI fluency, able to translate opportunities into business value.
- Credibility and influence with senior leaders to navigate complexity and drive outcomes.
- Hands-on pragmatic leadership, from strategy to delivery and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Shape the Merchandise strategy into an integrated, actionable portfolio and rolling 8‑quarter plan.
- Lead complex, cross‑functional transformation priorities from strategy to measurable outcomes.
- Drive transformation by prioritising AI, automation and emerging technology to improve productivity and decisions.
- Act as the integration point with Enterprise Transformation, Technology and Product to deliver business value.
