Placements24 is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to manage and enhance purchasing operations in Queenstown. You will oversee supplier evaluation, contract management, and the execution of procurement strategies to drive efficiency and cost savings in a growing organization.

The role requires 2–3 years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with procurement software and MS Office. A relevant supply chain or business qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
• Solid understanding of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sourcing activities, including supplier identification, qualification, and selection.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.
• Manage supplier performance and relationships to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
