Job summary

Douglas Pharmaceuticals Limited in Auckland is seeking a PMO Systems & Delivery Manager for a 15-month fixed-term role. The role can be full-time on site or a minimum 24 hours per week with flexible hours.

You will own portfolio governance, run PMO tools like Smartsheet and PowerBI, and develop AI use cases to improve delivery across engineering, quality and operations. You will lead a small team and report to the CTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading project portfolios and PMO governance.
• Proven ability to coach and develop project managers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio governance and project lifecycle from intake to benefits realisation.
• Run and optimise PMO tools like Smartsheet and PowerBI; develop AI use cases.
• Develop portfolio dashboards and reporting for Steering Committees and senior leadership.
• Keep project data current and trusted across a large, multi-stream portfolio.
• Lead PMO maturity improvements including assessment and action plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Digital, Quality, Validation and Finance to align priorities and budgets.
• Improve project lifecycle and associated tools and processes.
• Lead complex projects end-to-end when needed and mentor a team of PMs and coordinators.
• Build delivery capability through training, onboarding and communities of practice.
