Job summary

Alliance Group Limited Dannevirke is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the plant's finance function, report to the Plant Manager, and partner with Group Finance. The role focuses on strategic financial leadership, performance improvement and informed decision-making to support plant profitability and growth. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial controls while supporting capital investments and continuous improvement across finance systems.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in finance for a manufacturing/operational environment.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into practical insights.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and reporting capabilities.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders to drive performance.
• Track record of process improvement and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead site budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Provide insightful analysis and performance reporting for the site.
• Manage site P&L, balance sheet and working capital.
• Maintain strong controls, compliance and audit readiness.
• Support capital investments and business improvement initiatives.
• Partner with operations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.
