Vision Plastics Ltd is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance function from our Silverdale site in Auckland. The role demands strategic financial leadership, robust reporting, and collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership to improve profitability, cash flow and operational performance.

You will oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance with NZ IFRS, and develop a high-performing finance team, delivering insightful analysis and cost optimisation across manufacturing

Qualifikationen

• CA/CPA or equivalent is required with post-qualification experience in financial leadership.

Aufgaben

• Oversee complete accounting function including AP/AR, GL, month- and year-end close.
• Prepare and present financial statements and management commentary to SLT.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ABC costing with variance analysis.
• Maintain robust financial controls, policies and procedures.
• Ensure NZ IFRS compliance and regulatory reporting/tax compliance.
• Supervise and develop the finance team for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with external accountants, tax advisors and banking partners.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation across finance and operations.
• Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and cash flow management.
