Job summary

Evolution Healthcare seeks a Theatre Services Manager for Royston Hospital in Hawke's Bay. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across perioperative services, balancing clinical excellence with strong operational and commercial performance.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will influence patient outcomes, workforce capability, theatre performance and service growth within a private hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Significant perioperative or operating theatre leadership experience.
• Strong people leadership and workforce planning capability.
• Experience driving operational performance and service improvement.
• Commercial acumen, including budgeting and productivity management.
• A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across perioperative services and balance clinical excellence with financial performance.
• Lead optimisation of theatre utilisation, enhance patient experiences and drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to shape service growth and outcomes.
