Auckland Transport is seeking an Operations Planning Manager to lead a team delivering public transport services that improve customer outcomes across Auckland's PT network.

The role focuses on timetables, schedules and run-time/per vehicle requirements, collaborating with planning and service operations to implement service changes. You will build strong relationships with bus, train and ferry operators and guide analyses to develop detailed planning for change.

Formación

• A tertiary qualification in transport planning, management, business, commerce, economics or related discipline.
• Minimum: 7 years’ experience in an analytics role or service delivery and performance management role.
• Leading an analytical team in a political or highly complex organisation.
• Managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Scheduling software experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and engage the team, providing feedback and coaching, and discuss personal development plans.
• Review network performance in terms of patronage, capacity, resource utilisation and customer experience.
• Work day to day with bus and ferry operators to implement initiatives.
• Oversee timetables, peak vehicle requirements and optimise schedules.
• Collaborate with Service Change Planning to schedule and timetable future service improvements and align with operators.
• Maintain a proactive, strategic view on network optimisation to improve customer outcomes.
• Discuss customer, operational and design criteria with AT teams to ensure requirements are considered in timetable development.
• Identify and prioritise review, analysis and timetable creation needs with internal teams.
• Guide analysts on timetable development to ensure business requirements are understood and effective outcomes.
