Lead regional transport operations for the Northern Region across Auckland, Pukekohe, Hamilton and Tauranga, guiding Transport Managers and driving performance. You’ll focus on safety, financial results and customer service, visiting sites and leading change initiatives to unite sites into one high-performing region.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within transport, logistics or supply chain.
• Proven ability to lead leaders across multiple locations.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing budgets.
• Ability to think strategically while supporting field teams.
• Experience leading change and bringing people together during transformations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative leadership style that develops people and builds trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transport operations and senior teams across multiple sites.
• Drive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance across NZTA requirements.
• Improve productivity, utilisation and cost efficiency in the region.
• Manage regional budgets, labour and asset performance.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support site changes and navigate change successfully.
