Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an hands‑on Operations Manager to own day‑to‑day operations across a large‑scale, high‑volume environment. You will lead a team of supervisors and operational staff to drive performance, service delivery and safety.

Responsibilities include overseeing fleet availability, coordinating with maintenance and support teams, monitoring KPIs and implementing improvements to meet service and compliance targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations, logistics, fleet management or other high‑volume environments.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage performance and decisions.
• Organised, process‑driven with ability to prioritise.
• Analytical skills with KPI interpretation and trend identification.
• Resilience under pressure and clear stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operations in a large, high‑volume environment.
• Lead supervisors and staff, driving performance and service delivery.
• Oversee fleet availability and liaison with maintenance/support teams.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends and implement improvements for safety/compliance.
• Handle real‑time challenges, staffing, scheduling and incidents effectively.
