Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Fleet Manager in Auckland to oversee the vehicle fleet, driver supervision, and moving operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery.

This full-time, permanent role requires a Diploma or 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong organisation and leadership skills, and a focus on customer service and continuous improvement. You will coordinate maintenance, routes, and budgeting while promoting safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification or at least two years of relevant work experience.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills; knowledge of NZ transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily transportation and moving operations.
• Manage vehicle procurement, leasing, maintenance, and registrations.
• Monitor fleet performance, utilisation, fuel use, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with transport regs and health and safety standards.
• Coordinate scheduling to meet customer bookings and service commitments.
• Develop efficient routes and standard operating procedures.
• Supervise drivers and moving crew; provide feedback and coaching.
• Maintain fleet records and assist budgeting and cost control.
