Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking an Internal Communications Manager in Auckland to lead strategic storytelling and support a major transformation programme. You will partner with senior leaders and teams across the bank to deliver engaging internal communications that inspire our people and reflect our purpose.

You'll shape strategic plans, write and edit compelling content, and coordinate across channels to ensure consistency with Ngā Kauwaka values.

Qualifications

Excellent strategic advice and trusted communications counsel to senior leaders.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management across teams.
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading with attention to detail.
Experience delivering strategic communication plans over time.
Comfort with multiple channels: email, intranet, video, social, virtual and in-person.
Willingness to adapt and learn, including emerging AI tools.

Responsibilities

Providing strategic advice and support to leaders and stakeholders on internal communication.
Creating and executing strategic communication plans to build engagement with our people.
Producing purposeful content showing how business units deliver on strategy and purpose.
Supporting transformation through strategic storytelling.
Collaborating with project teams to ensure communications align with strategy and Ngā Kauwaka values.
