Job summary

Airways New Zealand is seeking a full-time Communications Advisor to join the Auckland team. You will provide day-to-day communications support, manage intranet, social media, website, and sponsorship activities, and help deliver engagement plans to strengthen culture internally and externally.

Ideal candidates will have a tertiary degree in Communications/Journalism, 3+ years in a corporate communications or PR role, and proven media experience across multiple channels, including crisis

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree in Communications/Journalism or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in dealing with media across all mediums including print, broadcast, online and social media management.
• Experience managing a creative agency, projects and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day communications support and advice to the business.
• Manage communications channels (intranet, social media, website, sponsorship programme).
• Support the Communications team to deliver the communications plan and engagement activities.
• Respond to media queries and develop activation plans for key initiatives.
• Support events and corporate reporting, and protect/enhance Airways' reputation.
