Job summary

Kāinga Ora invites an HR Advisor to join the People Services team on a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2028. You will deliver practical HR advice to leaders, coaching them to build high-performing teams while ensuring compliant people practices.

You will partner across the organisation to support the employee lifecycle, apply employment legislation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, fostering an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and best practice.
• Ability to provide practical, credible advice to leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely HR advice and coaching to leaders and employees.
• Support leaders across the employee lifecycle: performance, conduct, development, leave, wellbeing.
• Collaborate with People Services to deliver people initiatives and change programmes.
