Job summary

Hilton Auckland is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the on‑site finance team, ensure month‑end close, and produce accurate financial statements for the DoubleTree Auckland hotel. You will drive budgeting, forecasting and interdepartmental financial governance in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills are essential, together with hotel‑industry experience and proficiency in financial systems such as Navision, Birchstreet or similar

Qualifications

• Business/ accounting degree required.
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience as Finance Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of hotel/hospitality financial management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting systems and procedures for monthly reports and financial statements.
• Provide month end closing and management reports.
• Review vendor contracts and projects with the Director of Finance/General Manager.
• Lead monthly finance update meetings and reconcile ledger accounts.
• Ensure accurate records, budgeting, forecasting and audit readiness.
