Job summary

NZTA | Waka Kotahi is recruiting an experienced Enterprise Architect, Customer and Digital to set the architecture direction across our Customer and Digital technology domains. You will define long-term technology direction, influence investment decisions and ensure digital capabilities evolve coherently and sustainably.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise, solution or technology architecture.
• Experience developing technology strategies, target states and architecture roadmaps.
• Experience with customer engagement platforms, digital services and web/mobile ecosystems.
• Experience across complex product, platform and delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate complex technology concepts into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture direction for the Customer and Digital domains.
• Develop target states, domain roadmaps and strategic technology guidance.
• Shape the evolution of customer experience platforms, digital channels and enabling capabilities.
• Influence technology investment, platform decisions and strategic priorities.
• Provide clear architectural direction to support digital product and service delivery.
• Manage cross-domain dependencies, risks and opportunities.
