EVT is hiring a Conference & Events Sales Executive for the QT Auckland property. This full-time role focuses on converting inbound enquiries, driving new conference and events opportunities, and managing key accounts with a hands-on, growth-oriented approach.

You will collaborate with operations and F&B, build relationships with clients and partners, and mentor junior staff while delivering exceptional guest experiences across EVT brands.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to convert high value conference and event opportunities.
• Strong negotiation and closing of complex sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of hotel operating systems such as Opera Cloud and iVvy.
• Strong commercial acumen with sales performance analysis.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience mentoring or coaching teammates is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Receive and convert inbound enquiries while maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Drive proactive sales activity to generate conference, event and group business.
• Own key client accounts with strategies for repeat business and growth.
• Lead conference/event processes through to the event day with operations and F&B.
• Build relationships with clients, industry partners and event organisations.
• Mentor junior team members and act as subject-matter expert.
