Job summary

Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington seeks two Capability Developers to join the Akura - Work-Integrated Learning Hub and strengthen WIL across faculties and central services. You will design curriculum, develop professional learning resources, and support staff and students to participate in meaningful WIL experiences that lead to strong graduate outcomes.

You will collaborate across departments, share evidence-informed practices, and foster communities of practice to embed

Qualifications

• Significant experience in work-integrated learning, curriculum development, student support or employability skill development.
• Experience designing and facilitating professional development for academic or professional staff.
• Strong understanding of pedagogy, curriculum design, assessment and student support practice.
• Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience creating resources, guidelines or standards for teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead capability-building initiatives and develop resources to embed WIL across faculties.
• Collaborate with staff to design curriculum, learning activities and assessment aligned to graduate outcomes.
• Facilitate communities of practice to promote effective and sustainable WIL.
• Support staff and students with educational development and employability skills.
