Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking an Asset Manager to strategically and operationally manage a diverse portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate and residential properties. The role focuses on asset performance, compliance, maintenance planning and stakeholder management to ensure homes remain fit for purpose and financially sustainable.

Qualifications

• Asset, facilities, property or body corporate management experience.
• Strong understanding of property legislation, compliance and risk management.
• Ability to analyse financial and technical information and make sound recommendations.
• Experience managing contractors, service providers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate and residential properties.
• Oversee asset performance, compliance and maintenance planning.
• Engage with external stakeholders including body corporates, councils and service providers.
• Protect and enhance value of Kāinga Ora housing assets while delivering community outcomes.
