Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking an Asset Manager for Complexes in New Zealand. You will manage a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate and residential properties, balancing asset performance with compliance and maintenance planning.

You'll influence investment decisions, oversee complex property issues and collaborate with external stakeholders to protect and enhance value. Your role supports high-quality homes, community outcomes and sustainable housing assets across

Qualifications

• Asset, facilities, property or body corporate management experience.
• Strong understanding of property legislation, compliance and risk management.
• Ability to analyse financial and technical information and make sound recommendations.
• Experience managing contractors, service providers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate and residential properties.
• Oversee asset performance, compliance, maintenance planning and stakeholder management to maintain value and quality housing outcomes.
• Contribute to investment decisions and represent Kāinga Ora with external stakeholders including body corporates, councils and service providers.
• Ensure properties remain fit for purpose, financially sustainable and meet regulatory requirements.
