Job summary

Kāinga Ora is seeking an Asset Manager - Complexes to lead strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate and residential properties in Wellington.

You will influence investment decisions, ensure compliance and financial sustainability, and build strong partnerships with councils, body corporates and service providers to deliver safe, quality homes for New Zealanders.

Qualifications

• Asset, facilities, property or body corporate management experience
• Strong understanding of property legislation, compliance and risk management
• Ability to analyse financial and technical information and make sound recommendations
• Experience managing contractors, service providers and external stakeholders
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate and residential properties
• Influence investment decisions and protect the long-term value of Kāinga Ora properties
• Balance commercial, compliance and customer considerations while delivering safe, compliant housing outcomes
• Oversee compliance requirements, maintenance planning and stakeholder management
• Represent Kāinga Ora with external stakeholders including body corporates, councils and service providers
