Job summary

Kainga Ora is seeking an Asset Manager - Complexes to lead strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate properties and residential assets across New Zealand. You will drive asset performance, compliance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure sustainable, quality housing outcomes for customers.

The role requires strong knowledge of property legislation, risk management and experience in managing contractors and external partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in asset, facilities, property or body corporate management.
• Strong knowledge of property legislation, compliance and risk management.
• Ability to analyse financial and technical information and make sound recommendations.
• Experience managing contractors, service providers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate properties and residential properties.
• Collaborate across asset performance, compliance, maintenance planning and stakeholder management to keep properties fit for purpose and financially sustainable.
• Protect and enhance the value of Kāinga Ora housing assets while delivering quality homes for customers.
• Represent Kāinga Ora with external stakeholders including body corporates, councils and service providers in complex property matters.
• Contribute to investment decisions and oversee complex property issues to support positive community outcomes across Aotearoa.
