Job summary

Kāinga Ora is seeking an Asset Manager - Complexes in Wellington to lead the strategic and operational management of a diverse portfolio of multi‑storey complexes and residential properties. You will oversee asset performance, compliance, maintenance planning and stakeholder engagement to ensure long‑term value and safe, quality homes for customers.

Qualifications

• Strong asset or facilities management experience with a balance of commercial, compliance and customer considerations.
• Ability to build effective relationships, solve complex problems and make informed long‑term value decisions.
• Asset, facilities, property or body corporate management experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of property legislation, compliance and risk management.
• Ability to analyse financial and technical information and make sound recommendations.
• Experience managing contractors, service providers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi‑storey complexes, body corporate and residential properties.
• Oversee asset performance, compliance, maintenance planning and stakeholder management.
• Protect and enhance property value while delivering safe, compliant and sustainable housing outcomes.
