Job summary

Ideal Electrical Suppliers is seeking a reliable DC Storeperson to join our Distribution Centre team in Auckland. This hands-on role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and service, reporting to the DC Manager.

The Opportunity:

Ideal Electrical Suppliers is looking for a motivated DC Storeperson to join our Distribution Centre team. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, teamwork, and a strong focus on service make all the difference.

You will help ensure stock is received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the wider warehouse and branch teams to keep products moving and help deliver the best possible service to our customers.

This role reports directly to the DC Manager.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Receive, check, store, pick, pack, and dispatch stock accurately.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping, stock control, and warehouse safety.

Assist with stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.

Administer documentation to process orders and movements.

Support timely dispatch to branches and customers.

Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous warehouse, distribution centre, stores experience

A current forklift licence would be an advantage

Good attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right first time.

Ability to work safely in a busy, hands-on environment.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

Reliable, punctual, and positive, with a strong team focus.
