Job summary

Number One Shoes + Hannahs in Blenheim is seeking a Key Holder to lead shifts, coach team members, and ensure the store runs smoothly while delivering the EDGE customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role blending customer service with operational responsibility.

You'll open/close, supervise staff, promote add-on sales, and help the Store Manager drive sales targets in a friendly, fast-paced retail environment. Flexible hours available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail or customer-facing experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable with the ability to take ownership of store operations.
• Positive, energetic approach and passion for excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts on the shop floor, assign tasks, manage breaks, and support sales targets.
• Open and close the store, maintain security, cleanliness, and safety.
• Coach and develop Sales Assistants, embed best practices, and escalate concerns.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote add-on sales.
• Resolve customer escalations and operational issues promptly.
