Job summary

Ravensdown is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the Te Puke Service Centre team. You will help keep customers happy and operations running smoothly, from blending bulk fertiliser to processing orders and selling to customers.

Flexibility is required with weekend and peak period hours. Experience in store/yard work and a willingness to learn Raven down's stock management system will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety focused with a safety-first attitude.
• Customer service experience and strong people skills.
• Able to use tablet/computer and Ravensdown system.
• Forklift/front-end loader experience is welcome but not required.
• Physically fit and able to work in yard environments.
• Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Blend bulk fertiliser and operate heavy machinery to support site operations.
• Process computerised orders and assist customers at the service centre.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with yard duties as required.

About the Role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the team at our Te Puke Service Centre to help keep our customers happy and our operations running smoothly and safely. From blending bulk fertiliser and operating heavy machinery to processing computerised orders and selling to customers. Your mix of practical skills, personality and professionalism means that nothing will be a problem.

About You:

Your previous experience in a customer-focussed role along with general store/yard work will make you an ideal candidate. Being able to operate a front-end loader and forklift would be a nice to have however, we can provide the necessary training to see you succeed. You will be comfortable using a tablet/computer to use our stock management and ordering system.

There are seasonal demands which require flexibility in the hours, including Saturday mornings and some nights during the peak periods. Ideal Skills & Experience:

• Strong Health & Safety focus with a 'safety-first' attitude
• Customer service experience and be an excellent 'people person'
• Competent using a computer or be capable of picking up Ravensdown's ordering and stock management system
• Experience in forklift / front-end loader operation desired but not essential
• Reasonable physical fitness and be comfortable working in the yard
• The ability to work as a team and follow instructions
• Willingness to work some overtime if required dury our peak periods
