Job summary

Ravensdown Limited is seeking a manufacturing team member to ensure safe, efficient operation of the production plant and to help achieve planned production levels. You will work on conveyor belts and machinery, require physical fitness and a positive, can-do attitude.

Ideally you’ll be mechanically minded, able to work in a team, and comfortable with alternating shifts including nights and weekends. Training will be provided for any required safety and process competencies.

Qualifications

  • Essential you’re physically fit, mechanically minded and safety conscious.
  • Experience in manufacturing or process plant is beneficial.
  • Able to work alternating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must have a full driver’s license.
  • Confined space experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, effective operation of the manufacture plant to achieve planned production levels.
  • Keep the manufacturing plant running at optimum levels, and safely.
  • Support shift handovers and follow safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain quality and efficiency.

About the role

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you'll ensure the safe, effective operation of the manufacture plant to achieve planned production levels. By keeping the manufacturing plant running at optimum levels - and safely - we're best placed to help our farmers/shareholders, and you're best placed for a rewarding job with great scope for growth.

About you:

Given the work environment and nature of the role, it’s essential you’re physically fit, mechanically minded and safety conscious. Ideally, you’ll be comfortable around running conveyor belts and machinery, but if not, we can provide the training to get you there if you have a positive, can-do attitude. To be successful in the role, you will ideally:

  • Be flexible in your ability to work alternating shift patterns, including nights and weekends
  • Have manufacturing or process plant experience
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Be physically fit
  • Be mechanically minded
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a reasonable level of computer literacy
  • Full driver’s license
  • Confined space (desirable)
