Job summary

Vs Group of Enterprises Limited is opening a new store in Port Charmers, Dunedin, and seeks a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service and lead a capable team. You will drive store performance, manage stock and supplier relations, and uphold the store’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to work long hours including public holidays.
• Minimum 35 hours per week guaranteed.
• Remuneration of $35–$36 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the overall operations of the store.
• Lead the team independently and supervise staff for smooth operations.
• Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, rostering, training and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor and analyse sales and financial data.
• Manage finances, including budgeting, cash handling and financial reporting.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Implement marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
