Job summary

Retailworld Resourcing is seeking a Store Manager for a flagship Queenstown location, leading a high-volume team to deliver world-class customer experiences and sustainable outdoor fashion. The role offers strong career growth within a global parent group and a clear path to senior leadership.

You will own day-to-day operations, drive profitability, and uphold premium performance apparel storytelling, with a 40-hour week and a Tuesday-Saturday roster.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Retail Store Manager role within a fast-paced or high-volume retail environment.
• Proven track record in people management and developing team capability.
• Confident with financial reporting, rostering, wage management, and P&L accountability.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Growth: Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of 6-10 to build a high-performing, customer-centric store culture.
• Commercial Performance: Drive store profitability, manage P&L targets, and optimise wage controls and rostering to achieve key performance metrics.
• Operations & Visual Merchandising: Oversee daily store operations, inventory management, and execute striking visual merchandising standards.
• Brand Leadership: Act as a passionate leader on the retail floor, connecting with local and international customers through quality storytelling and expert product knowledge.

Reporting directly to the Senior Retail Manager, you will take full operational and commercial ownership of a high-volume, multimillion-dollar store. Leading a high-performing team, you'll foster a strong team culture, maximise sales, and champion high-performance, natural apparel in New Zealand's ultimate outdoor destination.
