PAK’nSAVE Tamatea in Napier is hiring a Sticky Café Assistant to deliver excellent customer service by preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, maintaining café standards, and ensuring food safety. This role is part-time (25.75 hours) with varied shifts and potential for additional duties within the team.

You will interact with customers, restock displays, assist with checkout during busy periods, and help keep the café clean and welcoming in a busy retail environment.

• Keeping displays and shelves stocked and attractively presented.
• Resolving customer enquiries and complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
• Completing daily cleaning and food safety tasks.
• Assisting with checkout duties during busy periods.
• Supporting the wider team with other duties as required.

About The Role

As a Sticky Café Assistant, you'll help deliver an excellent customer experience by preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, maintaining café presentation standards, and ensuring all food safety requirements are met.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be interacting with customers, preparing coffee, restocking displays, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting the wider team when required.

Sticky Cafe Assistant: 25.75 hours

Sunday: 6:45am - 1:00pm

Monday: 6:45am - 4:15pm

Tuesday: 6:45am - 4:15pm

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing coffee and other hot and cold beverages for customers.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting café environment.
• Cleaning and maintaining all café equipment to the required standards.
• Receiving and checking deliveries, including temperature checks where required.
• Ensuring food is stored correctly and food safety standards are maintained.
• Keeping displays and shelves fully stocked and attractively presented.
• Resolving customer enquiries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
• Completing daily cleaning and food safety tasks.
• Assisting with checkout duties during busy periods when required.
• Supporting the wider team with other reasonable duties as requested.

You Must Have:
