Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Tamatea is looking for a friendly Sticky Café Assistant to help deliver outstanding service in our busy café. You’ll prepare and serve coffee and beverages, maintain presentation standards, and ensure all food safety requirements are met.

This is a hands-on, varied role with 25.75 hours per week, including weekend shifts. You’ll interact with customers, restock displays, keep the café clean, and support the wider team with flexible duties as required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and other hot and cold beverages for customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting café environment.
• Clean and maintain café equipment.
• Receive and check deliveries, including temperature checks.
• Ensure food is stored correctly and food safety standards maintained.
• Keep displays fully stocked and attractively presented.
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Complete daily cleaning and food safety tasks.
• Assist with checkout duties during busy periods.
• Support wider team with other duties as requested.

About The Role

As a Sticky Café Assistant, you'll help deliver an excellent customer experience by preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, maintaining café presentation standards, and ensuring all food safety requirements are met.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be interacting with customers, preparing coffee, restocking displays, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting the wider team when required.

Sticky Cafe Assistant: 25.75 hours

Sunday: 6:45am - 1:00pm

Monday: 6:45am - 4:15pm

Tuesday: 6:45am - 4:15pm

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing coffee and other hot and cold beverages for customers.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting café environment.
• Cleaning and maintaining all café equipment to the required standards.
• Receiving and checking deliveries, including temperature checks where required.
• Ensuring food is stored correctly and food safety standards are maintained.
• Keeping displays and shelves fully stocked and attractively presented.
• Resolving customer enquiries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
• Completing daily cleaning and food safety tasks.
• Assisting with checkout duties during busy periods when required.
• Supporting the wider team with other reasonable duties as requested.

You Must Have:
