Job summary

Gambit Recruitment partners with a growing fintech SaaS company to recruit a Staff Engineer who will shape architecture and deliver high-impact software across .NET Core and React. You will mentor engineers, drive technical initiatives and collaborate with product, design and operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role blends hands-on development (60–70%) with DevOps and cloud engineering (30–40%), focusing on scalable platforms and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering, with 3+ years at senior level
Experience designing large-scale distributed systems
Proficiency in C# and .NET Core
Experience with AWS or Azure
Deep understanding of microservices and architecture
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong communication to explain complex concepts
CI/CD and DevOps practices
Interest in applying AI tools in engineering
Experience in high-growth tech environments

Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable software systems that align with business objectives and technical best practices
Lead the technical direction and strategy for key engineering initiatives
Collaborate with product, design, and operations to deliver complex software solutions
Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards to maintain code quality
Identify and address technical debt, proposing solutions to improve performance and reliability
Participate in architectural decision-making and provide technical guidance
Contribute to recruitment and hiring efforts to build strong engineering teams
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
