Job summary

Pushpay Holdings Limited is seeking a Staff AI Platform Engineer to architect, run, and scale our internal agentic platforms and developer tooling, with autonomy to own operational discipline, cost governance, and reliability in production.

You will focus on production-grade non-determinism, observability, SLOs/SLIs, and eval-driven testing, partnering with teams to reduce SDLC friction and drive adoption of advanced tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with time spent in technical leadership across Platform/Infrastructure/DevEx.
• Production agentic experience: operating non-deterministic workloads in production, with cost governance and observability.
• Backend & cloud mastery with strong AWS-native expertise (Lambda, API Gateway, Bedrock, IAM/KMS) and proficiency in C# or Python.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build internal agentic systems, supervisor loops, router patterns, and state machines using Claude Agent SDK and AWS Bedrock.
• Run workloads at scale by defining SLOs, latency targets, and token efficiency; own observability and incident response.
• Elevate developer experience by optimizing build/CI, local dev setups, and serverless architectures.
• Set the bar for AI safety and quality with reusable component models, RAG architecture, and guardrails.
