We seeking an enthusiastic, hands‑on Specialist Science Teacher to deliver dynamic science education to students from New Entrants through to Year 8. This dedicated role provides essential Classroom Release Time (CRT) cover across the school, delivering 1 hour of targeted science instruction per class each week. The successful applicant will lead the forward planning and adoption of the updated Science Curriculum beginning implementation in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Curriculum Implementation: Design and deliver an inquiry-based science program aligned with the refreshed 2027 Science Curriculum standards.
• Multi-Level Teaching: Adapt pedagogical approaches seamlessly across the primary spectrum, from play-based discovery for New Entrants to structured scientific inquiry for Year 8s.
• CRT Coverage: Deliver high-quality, reliable specialist teaching to maintain classroom continuity during teacher release periods.
• Resource Management: Manage equipment, order science supplies, and maintain safety protocols.
• Assessment and Collaboration: Track student engagement and progress, maintaining clear communication with homeroom teachers regarding student growth.
