We are seeking an experienced and compassionate specialist teacher to support students with High and Very High ORS funding within our mainstream environment. This role is central to ensuring our tamariki receive high-quality, needs-based support that enables them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful applicant will work alongside classroom teachers and teacher assistants to design and implement personalised programmes using the expanded curriculum, provide expert guidance, and build capability across the team. You will champion inclusive practice, collaborate closely with whānau and external agencies, and ensure each child’s learning pathway is responsive, meaningful, and grounded in their strengths. A strength in using AAC and Visual is an advantage.
