Science

Pakūranga College is a large (2,400+ students), coeducational, culturally diverse secondary school located in East Auckland.

We are seeking a passionate teacher of science to join our high performing and well-established science faculty.

Pakūranga College has an extensive science programme. Previous experiences teaching NCEA would be an advantage. Please state science specialist subject.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum in science.
  • The ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners.
  • Willingness to engage with our digital learning environment and to contribute to the active co-curricular life of the school.
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive education practices.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
