Job summary

Ellerslie School in Auckland invites applications for a Primary and intermediate Technology Specialist Teacher (Years 1–8). You will plan and deliver high-quality Technology programmes, including hard/soft materials, food tech, engineering, robotics, and digital integration.

You will teach years 2–6 through the year and hold weekly lessons for years 7–8, fostering innovation, creativity, and hands-on problem solving within an inclusive learning community. Term 1, 2027 start date.

Responsibilities

The role

The successful applicant will plan and deliver high-quality Technology programmes aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum. The role includes teaching and developing learning experiences across a range of technological areas, including:

• Hard materials
• Soft materials
• Food technology
• Engineering and robotics
• Design and innovation processes
• Digital and practical technology integration

The successful applicant will teach students in years 2-6 throughout the year and hold weekly lessons for students in years 7&8.
