Job summary

Northbridge Executive is partnering with a leading provider of high-performance insulated panel solutions to recruit a commercially focused Specification Manager in New Zealand. In this role you will identify opportunities, influence project specifications from concept through delivery, and generate new business across the South Island.

You will build relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, builders, and key stakeholders, deliver CPD presentations, and drive project opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in specification sales, technical sales, business development, architectural specification, or related construction industry role.
• Proven ability to generate new business and build a pipeline of opportunities.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction projects, building systems, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, builders, contractors, and key project stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities across the South Island.
• Influence specifications for commercial construction projects from concept through to delivery.
• Deliver engaging CPD and technical product presentations.
• Generate and nurture leads through face-to-face meetings, presentations, and project engagement.
• Track project opportunities, specifications, and pipeline activity through Salesforce.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to maximise project conversion and commercial outcomes.
• Represent the business at industry events, customer functions, and trade-related activities.
