Job summary

Pacific Radiology is seeking a Sonographer for a part-time, fixed-term role in Christchurch. You will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients and referrers while contributing to a collaborative clinical team.

Ideally you hold a professional ultrasound qualification and MRTB Annual Practising Certificate; MSK experience is advantageous but not essential. You will engage in professional development and support student sonographers as required.

Qualifications

• Professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and current MRTB Annual Practising Certificate.
• Experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Proven excellence in patient care and strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing medical education.

We are seeking applications for a Sonographer in Christchurch. In this position you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients and referrers while contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical team. This is a part time (35 hours per week) position, fixed-term until July 2027.

• Undertake and interpret ultrasound examinations independently and produce clinical reports.
• Deliver outstanding patient care through clear communication, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support student sonographer training when required.
