Job summary

Health New Zealand, Whanganui, is seeking a qualified Sonographer to join the Radiology team. You will perform a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality imaging to support excellent patient outcomes in a supportive environment.

You will be MRTB registered with an Annual Practising Certificate, hold a recognised ultrasound qualification, and demonstrate strong clinical judgement.

Qualifications

  • Hold a recognised ultrasound qualification.
  • Be registered with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Have experience performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations.
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical judgement and patient-centred practice.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Have a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, health equity, and culturally safe care.
